| Bob, a highly experienced
strategic human resources executive and business leader, led the human
resources function and was a member of the executive committees of four
Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Mullin & Associates, Bob was Executive Vice President
of Human Resources for Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source
of intelligent information for business and professionals with revenues
of $12 billion and approximately 50,000 employees serving customers globally
in the law, tax, accounting, financial services, scientific research
and health care decision support markets.
Bob’s scope of responsibilities included the entire HR function, including executive compensation, compensation and benefit design, workforce planning, executive staffing, performance and talent management, organizational design and diversity. Bob has extensive experience working with the HR Committees of the Board of Directors. Companies that Bob has been the head of HR also include Primerica (formally American Can Company), Macmillan and Mutual of Omaha. He has led cultural changes, corporate realignments, integrations resulting from acquisitions and was the leader responsible for implementing the first flexible benefits plan into a major corporation which was an innovative and pioneering concept at the time of its introduction and is now common practice in benefit design. Bob’s international experience includes managing global HR functions including large populations in the U.K, Asia, and India. In addition to Bob’s extensive experience in human resources management, he has business experience in such diverse areas as engineering, strategic planning and finance. Early in his career he worked for Grumman Aerospace Corporation and for the Maxwell House division of General Foods Corporation. He has also started and sold his own business, taught graduate-level human resources management courses at the New School University and served as a management consultant. Bob is a graduate of the City College of New York with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, he has a master’s of business administration degree from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and he also attended the 13 week Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
