Stephanie L. Battle

Ms. Battle joins Mullin & Associates / Lincolnshire International as Vice President Business Development where she is responsible for driving new strategic business opportunities in the Metro New York region across all industries and sectors and assisting with growing existing clients. After several years with $30B metals & mining industry giant, Alcoa, Inc. as Global Director Talent Management, she served a key corporate Human Resources leadership role building and improving global talent management practices including leadership talent acquisition, succession planning, vendor management, career transition practices and campus recruitment. During her tenure there she worked globally with all business units and resource units to ensure Alcoa had the right leaders on the right assignments at the right time as well as working on other key strategic talent management initiatives. She played a vital role in Alcoa’s global inclusion/diversity efforts, serving as a founding board member of the Global Alcoa Women’s Network and founder of Alcoa’s African Heritage Network. Prior to Alcoa, Ms. Battle was President of specialty executive search firm, Wesley, Brown and Bartle in their New York offices. She was primarily responsible for business development while originating and executing retained executive level search assignments, implementing strategic sourcing initiatives and ensuring delivery of world class candidate management practices.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Battle gained extensive expertise in the telecommunications industry serving as a sales and operations executive and working as Regional Vice President for Qwest Communications and as Director of Verizon Communication’s (formerly Bell Atlantic) northeast B2B customer sales and service account teams centers. In April 2002, the global publication, Earth Times Monthly Magazine selected her as one of New York’s “100 Most Influential Women” in 2001 The Network Journal selected her as one of “The Top 25 Black Women of Influence in Corporate America”, and in 1999 The Salvation Army recognized her as their Corporate Honoree and “Woman of the Year”. She served as an Alumni board member of The Ethel Walker School from 1997 – 2000, she was a 1994 recipient of the YMCA Black Achiever’s in Industry Award and a 1990 recipient of the NYNEX Diversity Recognition Award. Ms. Battle is a guest speaker at industry, academic, community and trade venues on matters of talent management, leadership and technology.
Ms. Battle earned a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from Boston University’s School of Management and an MBA, Finance & Economics, from Babson College where she served as a Trustee and Board member from 1994 – 2004. She is a past fellow of the FCI/Aspen Institute’s Young Executive program. A Manhattan, New York resident, Ms. Battle is active in many civic and community initiatives.
